Charah Solutions Executives to Present at World of Coal Ash Conference

Danny Gray, Executive Vice President of Governmental and Environmental Affairs, will present:

  • Update on “Ash Management Issues & Impacts” during the Short Course session “Geotech/Ash Management” on Monday, May 13 from 11:15am – noon. The session will examine how in today’s regulatory and public oversight climate, the actions required to perform ash management take on higher risks to meet requirements and customer expectations.
  • “Impacts to CCP Availability due to Regulations and Oil & Gas Technology” on Wednesday, May 15 from 11:00am – 11:30am. The session will examine how regulations and technology advances in the oil & gas industry are causing negative impact to the coal combustion products (CCP) markets and will provide an updated review of volume reductions projected from plant retirements.

Scott Ziegler, Vice President of Byproduct Sales, will present:

  • “Cost-Effective, Environmentally-Friendly Ash Beneficiation Technology” on Tuesday, May 14 from 11:30am – noon. Charah Solutions Announces New Fly Ash Storage Terminal in Central Massachusetts

Hopedale, MA Latest Addition to Growing National
MultiSource® Materials Network

LOUISVILLE, KY (May 1, 2019) – Charah® Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: CHRA) (the “Company”), a leading provider of environmental and maintenance services to the power generation industry, today announced that it has opened a new rail-served distribution terminal with storage in Central Massachusetts. The fully-operational terminal and silos, located in Hopedale, MA, will serve customers throughout New England where demand for quality fly ash is growing.

The new facility provides customers with easy access to nearby I-495 and I-90 and direct routes to Rhode Island and New Hampshire, allowing for the efficient distribution of products to customers throughout the New England region. The new silos also increase availability and reliability of fly ash from Charah Solutions’ MultiSource® materials network locations.

The Company’s MultiSource materials network represents nearly 40 nationwide sourcing locations across the South, New England, the Midwest, the Rocky Mountains and California. These locations ensure a steady and reliable supply of Class C and Class F fly ash for ready mix concrete producers and other customers throughout the United States.
